Oh, yes, it was Sunday and I had just been to some beautiful churches. It was now the afternoon, the clouds were gone, the sky was a sparkling blue, and the sun was warm. After cleaning up a bit at home I went to an art opening of sorts. One of our instructors was hanging a show. Christopher Pelley is the drawing instructor. I wasn't in his class but I've had several occasions to interact with him. He's smart, funny, and, it turns out, talented as well. The show was titled "Roman Laundry" and it is an affectionate nod to modern Roman life with a reference to Rome's ancient past.
